Waggy Boops is a family-run business providing premium, licensed dog care in Spencers Wood, Reading, Berkshire, UK. We specialise in home boarding, daycare, and dog walking for small, friendly dogs, along with occasional pop-ins or pet sitting for nearby clients.
Every service is thoughtfully tailored to meet each dog’s unique needs and the wishes of their humans – because no two dogs (or families) are the same. We believe routine, enrichment and emotional comfort are essential for all dogs 🐾💕
We are fully insured and licensed by Wokingham Borough Council for home boarding, with a 5-Star Animal Activity Licence that allows up to seven dogs overlapping during their stays. We follow best practices, stay up-to-date with industry standards, and always put the welfare of our guests first.
Throughout every stay, we pour our love and attention into every dog we care for, while providing detailed, honest updates to owners so they can feel completely reassured while they’re apart.

Our top priority is to make sure each dog is safe, happy, and having the time of their lives – like a dream holiday just for them! 🌞🐕
Our second priority is providing warm, honest, and regular updates (aka pupdates 📸🐾) that reflect exactly how your dog is getting on. We customize the frequency to suit each family: some prefer one big update at the end of the day, others enjoy multiple check-ins throughout. We’re proud to offer the reassurance and transparency we’d want if our own pets were staying elsewhere.
We’re Livia & Robert 👫 – a dog-loving, nature-loving, happily married duo living our dream life with wagging tails all around. We love getting to know every dog we meet and often find ourselves reminiscing about their unique quirks and personalities. We genuinely cherish the memories we create with them and picture ourselves doing this for the rest of our lives ❤️🐶
We take our guests on beautiful daily walks through fields, woodlands, and by the lakes. For safety, we always use leads, even with dogs that have great recall. We believe in safe adventures, plenty of sniffs, and the freedom to explore (hello, extending leads!). Every walk is a little outdoor quest!

We’re blessed to live in a safe, spacious, and cozy home with plenty of room to welcome our dog guests. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken seriously, and we maintain a tidy, well-organised space throughout every stay.
Our fully enclosed, secure garden is a much-loved feature – ideal for zoomies, sniffing around, relaxing in the sun, and of course, epic games of fetch! With flowers and greenery year-round, it provides a calm, sensory-rich environment where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air and outdoor time 🌼🐾

We launched Waggy Boops in 2023, after moving into our new home in Spencers Wood. It was the perfect time to turn our passions into something meaningful – connecting with people (and their pets!), engaging with our community, and offering thoughtful, personalised pet care.
We feel incredibly lucky for every family we’ve met and every tail we’ve wagged along the way. Sharing part of your dog’s life is a true honour ❤️🐕

We only accept dogs who are a good match for our home and environment. If we feel a guest isn’t the right fit, we’ll let you know and help you explore other options – because finding the best care for your dog is what matters most.
