Trials

For home boarding: a mandatory overnight trial is required for all new dogs staying for more than 3 nights. If your dog will be staying for 2 or 3 nights, an overnight trial is optional but recommended to ensure they settle in well in our home.

For daycare: a trial is optional. If you’d like to ease your dog into daycare, you can book a half-day stay (up to 4 hours) before committing to a full day. This is ideal if you’re unsure how your dog will handle being away from home.

A successful trial helps confirm that your dog is comfortable in our home environment. If we feel your dog is struggling to settle, we will provide honest feedback and suggest alternative arrangements.

Trials are charged at our standard daycare/boarding rates, as they require the same level of care, time, and attention.

Pet care at our client’s home

  • Applicable if you live near to us in Spencers Wood, Reading, UK.
  • Includes pet sitting (from 1 hour up to 10 hours at your home) and pop-ins (20 minutes or maximum of 1 hour at your home).
  • Pet sitting is charged by the hour, and is ideal for dogs who are sick and/or unable to mix with others, requiring exclusive care at their own home. We will give your dog(s) lots of cuddles, fuss, playtime, toilet breaks and serve their food/treats. Walks are also included as per their routine, and so are pupdates and photo collages showing highlights of the time we spent with your dog(s).
  • Pop-ins (up to 1 hour) are ideal for when your dog doesn’t need or is unable to go for a full walk (e.g. if the weather is too hot), but still requires a carer’s visit to their home to provide them food, comfort breaks, a little play and human companionship. Walks and photo collages are not included in pop-ins.
