By using Waggy Boops services, you (the client) confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog(s) registered with us, and that you have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions. These apply to all current and future bookings, unless otherwise revised. You also confirm that the information you provided during registration is accurate and that you will notify us of any changes.

1. General Requirements

  • Your dog must arrive clean, well-groomed, and with up-to-date vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
  • Dogs suffering from, or suspected of having, any infectious or contagious illness must not attend daycare or boarding.
  • An overnight trial stay is required in advance for new dogs boarding for more than three nights.

2. Owner Responsibilities

  • You must provide sufficient food and treats for the duration of your dog’s stay. If additional food is needed, you agree to reimburse the cost upon presentation of a receipt.
  • You are responsible for any significant damage caused by your dog to Waggy Boops property.
  • You must disclose any relevant behavioural or health concerns, including but not limited to: aggression, separation anxiety, excessive barking, incontinence, or lack of house training. Failure to disclose such information may result in termination of services or additional charges.

3. Behaviour & Compatibility

  • Waggy Boops does not accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or dogs known to have aggression issues toward other animals or people.
  • We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion, including in cases of unpaid fees or unsuitable behaviour.g causes to another dog, person, or animal, including covering any veterinary or medical costs.

4. Extreme Weather Policy

  • During extreme weather (e.g., heatwaves, snow, storms), outdoor time may be limited or moved indoors for your dog’s safety and comfort.

5. Medication

  • If required, we are happy to administer medication if clearly labeled and with written instructions. However, we are not liable for adverse reactions unless due to negligence.

6. Veterinary Care and Emergencies

  • In an emergency or if your dog becomes unwell, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you.
  • If immediate action is required, Waggy Boops reserves the right to seek veterinary treatment and act in the best interest of your dog based on professional advice.
  • You agree to cover all veterinary expenses incurred.
  • You must complete and sign our separate Vet Release Form, which authorises Waggy Boops (or a close family member) to transport and approve veterinary treatment for your dog if you are unreachable. The form also includes optional consent for euthanasia, to be used only in extreme circumstances and as a last resort.
  • By registering with Waggy Boops, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog(s) listed, and that the information you have provided is accurate.
  • You agree to inform us of any changes before future bookings.
  • These Terms & Conditions and the consents you provided in the Registration Form apply to all current and future services, unless updated by Waggy Boops.

As part of the onboarding process, all clients are required to provide the following consents when registering:

Mandatory Consents
  1. Your dog(s) may stay in the Waggy Boops home alongside other dogs (dogs who are not compatible will be separated).
  2. Your dog(s) may use the garden multiple times daily for toilet needs, fresh air, and enrichment (always supervised).
  3. Your dog(s) may interact and play with members of the Waggy Boops family.
  4. Your dog(s) may receive appropriate treatment for fleas, ticks or lice in the case when there is evidence of such external parasites as required by regulations (will only be given after prior discussion with a vet).
  5. Your dog(s) may be taken to the nearest available veterinary clinic in the case of an emergency or health concern if using their normal vet is not possible for any reason.
  6. Your dog(s) will be given their medications as required and if applicable during their stay with Waggy Boops (will always be previously agreed and instructed by the owner or following discussion with a vet).
  7. Your dog(s) may be transferred to an isolation facility if necessary for infection control (per regulatory requirements).
Optional Consents
  1. Your dog(s) may mix with compatible dogs from other households during boarding.
  2. Your dog(s) may be fed in the same space as dogs from other households.
  3. Your dog(s) may share the garden at Waggy Boops’ home with other compatible dogs.
  4. Your dog(s) may be walked outside the home environment (always on lead).
  5. Your dog(s) may participate in group walks (up to 4 dogs per walker).
  6. Your dog(s) may play with safe dog toys indoors and in the garden.
  7. Your dog(s) may be kept in a individual crate as part of their normal routine (only in the case if they normally use/sleep in a crate and you agree to bring their crate; also note that dogs can only be shut in for a maximum of 3 hours in a 24 hour period, and as such the crate’s door will remain open overnight).
  8. Your dog(s) may be featured in photos and videos used on Waggy Boops’ website and social media.
